We are beneficiaries of the power of 2 as well. We’re part of the Gateway to College National Network. This national network of 31 schools supports communities across the country in building sustainable, alternative educational pathways for high school and college-aged youth (ages 16-21). We’d love to take full credit for all the awesome programming and educational opportunities we offer. But we are part of something bigger. So we’ll take 99% of the credit! And you can, too.
Our home base at Riverside City College was the 2nd location (see there’s that number 2 again) to become part of the Gateway to College family, way back in 2004. Over the course of our 16 years and our many thriving graduating classes, we’ve been able to show our stuff to visitors from other schools and regions. Like Gateway, all schools in the national network are tuition-free and aimed at helping one and all earn a high school diploma alongside meaningful college credentials. Gateway is one of 31 dual enrollment GtCNN sites throughout the United States and we are one of the largest and longest running, most robust and most successful in the nation. About Gateway
Gateway College and Career Academy (formerly Gateway to College) is an early college public high school launched in 2004, as an answer to the growing number of students who were disconnected from their education and not on track to obtain their high school diplomas. Our highly qualified teaching and counseling staff supports and guides our students on their educational pathways, establishing a bond of trust and the motivation to make it to the finish line.
