The Application Process

Start Enrollment Submission

Complete an Online or Downloaded enrollment form.

Gather Supporting Documentation

You will need a copy of all your school transcripts and the most recent shot records to submit with your completed enrollment form.

Transcripts and shot records can be emailed to gateway@rcc.edu; Unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Photos of your transcripts and shot records are acceptable. Transcripts help Gateway counselors create an educational plan specific to you. We understand it may be difficult to get these documents at this time. If you are unable to email these to us, please let us know. We can still enroll you.

Submit Enrollment form & Supporting Documents

A completed application includes: 

  • Online or Downloaded form (If you wish to mail the downloaded application, mail to Gateway College and Career Academy 4800 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, CA 92506. Please note, mailing the application rather than submitting it electronically will delay enrollment.) 
  • All School Transcripts* (Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.) 
  • Most Recent Shot Records* 

*We understand it may be difficult to get transcripts and shot records at this time. Please let us know if you are unable to get these. We can still enroll you.

Thank you for your interest in Gateway College and Career Academy! Once your documents have been received, you will receive an email from gateway@rcc.edu for further directions. 

Things To Know First

The GCCA Enrollment form is required for students interested in our GCCA Programs.

Our Programs include:

  • BridgeThe Bridge program is an opportunity for interested students to enroll in Gateway College and Career Academy after the main semesters have begun. Bridge students have an opportunity to integrate into the school culture, complete partial credits and gain valuable life skills through community enrichment programs.
  • FoundationFoundation is an intensive 16-week semester with instruction in Math, English and College Readiness Skills. During the foundation semester, students strengthen their knowledge in these core areas. All three courses count toward GCCA graduation requirements and the college readiness course also earns students RCC credits.
  • TransitionOur transition students have the amazing opportunity to take FREE Riverside City College courses to complete their diplomas and explore their interests and dreams. While completing the requirements of their diploma, they are open to take a wide variety of college courses that will move them closer to their goals.

You may enroll at any time. We offer ongoing enrollment all year.

Your enrollment form is considered incomplete without your transcripts and recent shot records. Don’t forget to submit those documents to gateway@rcc.edu after you submit your Online enrollment form.

Bridge students have an opportunity to integrate into the school culture, complete partial credits and gain valuable life skills through community enrichment programs.
  • FoundationFoundation is an intensive 16-week semester with instruction in Math, English and College Readiness Skills. During the foundation semester, students strengthen their knowledge in these core areas. They count as part of the GCCA Math and English graduation requirements, as well as, preparing the students for the entry exam into Riverside City College.
  • TransitionOur transition students have the amazing opportunity to take tuition-free Riverside City College courses to explore their interests and dreams. While completing the requirements of their diploma, they are open to take a wide variety of college courses within the parameters of their outstanding graduation requirement.
