Achieving the Dream supports colleges and their K–12 partners with the planning and launch of Gateway to College programs in their communities.

Gateway to College is an early college program that reengages young people with their education and helps them launch postsecondary careers while completing high school diplomas. Gateway programs empower communities to reengage students who have become disconnected from education through sustainable, revenue-sharing partnerships between local colleges and school districts.

Riverside GCCA is 1 of 41 sites throughout the United States and one of the nation’s largest and most successful sites.

Riverside City College (RCC) was the second location to become a part of the Gateway to College family, marking GCCA as a “Model Site,” having visitors from other schools and areas observe the great things this program can do.
